Summary
In November 2014, we provided a submission to the Independent Biodiversity Legislation Review Panel.
The submission presented our thinking at the time on the Independent Panel's review of the Native Vegetation Act 2003, Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995 and related biodiversity legislation, policies and programs.
The submission outlined our views on a model that addressed the principles and objectives outlined in the Terms of Reference and would result in more strategic and enduring outcomes for biodiversity in NSW. We welcomed the opportunity to provide the Review Panel with more detail about how such a model would be implemented.
